This is sage advice. I can't tell you how many times I've tried long trips without enough food and skipping on the in flight naps. I always had arrived not so much a happy camper and that was really my fault. So true. I like #5 the best. Thank you.

You know, it really shouldn't (in my small mind) be tough for people to act courteously to flight staff. I mean honestly, the effort it takes to scream or get miffed at someone in a confined public space must be far more than needed to just hold back a bit, count back from 10 or 20 and chill out! I guess I could be totally wrong about that assumption but wow...that's just NOT OK. Thanks for sharing the joy.

I have stayed at this hotel before. It's not the best hotel but the bed is good and the staff friendly. I have never eaten at the restaurant. Not sure if I ever will but if I do, I'll let you know. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip! Last time I was in O'Hare it seemed like a wasteland of food. I was starving on a 3 hour layover. Not fun. Tea makes a nice perk as well for those long times there.

I think that you are correct on the coconut. I do have an icing tip that makes "grass" and think that would work well with a thick buttercream as "fur" also. I'll try it when I get home.

Awesome idea for a next day sandwich. But boy that cake looks awesome! I love shredded coconut topping! Good call on that for "fur". I think white chocolate may be yummy but might be a bit overkill on sweet if you top that over the frosting. Still not a terrible alternative. Sounds like you guys had a very satisfying holiday.

I'm so tempted to print this like 4000 times and hand it to every person at every boarding gate I wait at. I'm not thinking every one of the will read it but MAN it's worth a try. Thanks.
