This is an awesome comment. Thank you! I am so excited to be at opening night on 2/12 and see this for the first time both in ballet form and in a different version of the Cinderella than I grew up knowing. It will be a very exciting day.

The part played by Devon Carney, Associate Artistic Director of Cincinnati Ballet, was the role of Cinderella's Father. The Ballet and Beer attendees did not see the 1st act of the rehearsal which establishes all of the main characters of the ballet except for the Prince and his Jester who appear for the first time in the 2nd act which is when the Ballet and Beer attendees arrived. Therefore when Act 3 happened in which the Father re-appears he is somewhat out of context without the introduction of this role in Act 1 to observe. Of course everyone should come to the performance at the Aronoff 2/12 - 2/14 to get the real full impression of the Cincinnati Ballet production of Cinderella!
